Our New Cod & Carvery Restaurant

At the Old Reindeer, you will find great value, home cooked food in our newly revamped Cod & Carvery restaurant. As well as the usual home-cooked food, fresh fish and daily specials we now have a daily carvery with traditional home roasts from just £5, see our carvery prices.

We have recently extended our dining areas with a restaurant area. At the Old Reindeer are renowned for our good quality, affordable food. All food is available in the restaurant, lounge and bar areas from both the a la carte menu and the regularly changing specials boards. Our food is freshly cooked – good honest food. Locals and visitors alike have lauded our Fish & Chips meals. We use Fresh Cod and Haddock from Whitby caught in the North Sea. We have recently been featured in the local CAMRA magazine (Spring 2008) and Southwell Life. Customers travel from all over the East Midlands to eat here.

Vegetarians are catered for. We freshly prepare food from locally grown produce where available. Bar Snacks are also available and there is a separate Dining Room with an a la Carte Menu. With our newly extended dining areas the Old Reindeer is ideal for special occasions!

We have a separate Carvery menu for children. We also now have a separate takeaway menu!
