Rob and Gina welcome you to The Old Reindeer, Edingley
The Old Reindeer at Edingley near Southwell is a historic old building with
parts dating back to the middle of the 17th century. The pub has been
extensively renovated by the present owners – Rob & Gina. At the Old Reindeer,
you will always find a friendly welcome and professional service.
We are renowned for our good quality, affordable food. All food is available in
the restaurant, lounge and bar areas from both the a la carte menu and the
regularly changing specials boards. Our food is freshly cooked – good honest
food. Locals and visitors alike have lauded our Fish & Chips meals. We use Fresh
Cod and Haddock from Whitby caught in the North Sea. We have recently been
featured in the local CAMRA magazine (Spring 2008), Radio Nottingham and
Southwell Life.
At the Old Reindeer, we pride ourselves on our extensive range of quality beers
and lagers. We have up to six cask ales and 2 keg beers. These include Mansfield
Cask, Smooth and Dark, Camerons bitter and three guest beers which are changed
monthly.
We also sell four lagers including Fosters, Stella Artois and
Kronenbourg we also sell Guinness and Strongbow.Around Edingley you will find some of the finest parts of Nottinghamshire,
including historic Southwell Minster, Southwell Workhouse (National Trust),
Southwell Racecourse and Sherwood Forest. They are all within 10 minutes drive
of the Old Reindeer.
Our Bed & breakfast accommodation is currently being refurbished.
